Sejrø
Sejerø is one of the sunniest places in Denmark. The mild climate, the undulating landscape and the many small bathing beaches make the island a popular destination for excursions and holidays. The island has several grave mounds and a monolith. There are beautiful frescos in the church. The island also has cycle hire and farm shops, for example. With regard to accommodation, you can rent a cottage or stay at a campsite or hostel. Sejerø Sejerø Inn A holiday on Sejerø Vestsjælland ferry company
Nekselø
A small ferry brings visitors from Havnsø in West Zealand to Nekselø. The island has protected status and can only be visited on foot. Four families are the permanent residents of the island. Visitors can enjoy the outstanding scenery from two signposted ramblers’ trails that each take about 90 minutes to walk. However, they are not suitable for pushchairs, etc. While you are here, you can see rare fire-bellied toads and lots of birds. The island also has rare plants. Nekselø is one of the sunniest places in Denmark, with the least rainfall. There is no overnight accommodation on Nekselø, but the island is perfect for a day trip. Nekselø Vestsjælland ferry company AgersøAgersø has some very fine bathing beaches, but a visit to Agersø is by no means limited to a holiday lounging in the sun! There are guided tours of the many fascinating scenic areas, and you can fish or hunt by boat. You can also hire a bicycle or don your walking boots and go exploring. Approximately in the middle of the island is the town of Agersø with a beautiful little village pond at the centre. The narrow streets wend their way between small houses and farms. The island is only a quarter of an hour by boat from Stigsnæs on the southwest coast of Zealand. AgersøAgersø CampingAgersø MillAgersø InnVestsjælland ferry company
Omø
Omø is situated in the Great Belt, right on the dividing line between the Great Belt and the waters of Smålandshavet. The scenery on Omø is very beautiful and unspoilt. A riot of colours and fragrances vie for attention; this is typical of Omø throughout the season. There are well-described ramblers’ trails of between 4 and 10 km. Visit Omø town and Kirkehavn, which both have an intact village atmosphere with well-preserved older houses. For example, you could go on a farmhouse holiday at Elverhøj, eat at “Hos Morfar” (“grandpa’s”) and visit Langelændergården farm shop and wool gallery. You can take your car on the ferry.
