 Gisselfeld Klosterpark (abbey park) The grounds of this manor house are among the most beautiful in the Nordic region. The grounds were landscaped during the 19th century in the English garden style and contain 375 rare types of tree as well as Paradehuset (the old Orangery), a fountain and a carp pond. Birkegårdens Haver
By April, the gardens of Birkegårdens Haver will be awash with thousands of bulbs in bloom, and you can enjoy a riot of colours in bloom throughout the summer. Birkegårdens Haver includes Danish/English and Japanese-inspired sections of garden totalling 30,000 m2. You can also see the Prairie Garden, Artist’s Garden and Monastery Garden with aromatic and medicinal plants. For the children, there are animals to pat, playgrounds and several other activities.
