The new Kählers Ceramic Centre at Holmegaard Glassworks Spring 2008 will see the renewal and recreation of life in the historical ceramic workshop, Kähler Ceramic, when it opens its new workshop at Holmegaard Glassworks. Kähler Ceramics Centre will encompass a museum, a workshop and a further area where it will be possible to shape and decorate your own Kähler ceramic goods. Go bargain shopping in the large Kähler shop which has a large selection of ceramics in all shapes and sizes. Fuglsang Kunstmuseum (art museum)
Fuglsang art museum opened at the 26th of January 2008. A new museum building designed by English architect Tony Fretton is being built as part of the stately home complex at Fuglsang Manor on East Lolland and with views across open fields towards Guldborgsund and the protected Skejten nature reserve. Lalandia is expanding its water park in 2008 to include a heated outdoor pool Lalandia holiday centre on Lolland is extending Denmark’s biggest water park to include a heated outdoor pool with multiple water chutes. Construction works are expected to be completed in June 2008. Alterations will be made to Centergården to create an oasis landscape with an outdoor pool measuring approximately 300 m2 with ‘bubble benches’, Jacuzzi and a green area decorated with cliffs, green vegetation and a terrace with canopy. New Brewery in Gavnø Castle Gavnø Castle presents from spring 2008 a brand new castle brewery – Denmark’s only one – where there will be brewed various different forms of Gavnø castle beer with ingredients from Gavnø’s harvests. In the castle park there will for the first time be the opportunity to see a part of Gavnø’s Castle private collection of dolls which can be viewed in the beautiful playhouse "Skjærsommer" from the 19th century.
