Vestsjællands Car Museum shows you something of the days when you could see your reflection in the chrome and paint. You can see the 140 cars, veteran scooters and motorcycles as well as lots of model cars. Remember to look up to the ceiling, where a unique collection of hand-made model aircraft hovers above the entire collection.

Here, for example, you can see a fascinating collection of Bukh motors, the Holeby motor from 1898 and a fantastic locomobile from 1880. Skjoldenæsholm Tram Museum is the longest museum in Denmark. Here you can observe trams from Denmark’s main provincial towns as well as numerous trams from other countries. Be sure to take a ride on the old trams on the museum tracks and listen to narratives at each tram stop. At the terminus, Eilers Eg, you will find a picnic site and café tram.

The Maribo–Bandholm Museum Track is Denmark’s oldest veteran railway with attractions including the oldest running steam locomotive. Get on at Maribo and enjoy the journey past the three old tram stops, Grimstrupvej, Maglemer and Merritskov, to the terminus near Bandholm.
