Play and learn On Zealand, Møn and Lolland-Falster, there are lots of challenging leisure parks and educational attractions for children and adults alike. Blow your own glass at Holmegaard Glasværk, observe how the 70-million-year-old chalk cliffs of Møn were formed – and much, much more.
Leisure parks
Gavnø Castle invites you to a treasure hunt in the park or to play in Sørøverlandet (“Pirate Land”) – an attractive nature playground with a difference. Also try out the labyrinth or the aerial cableway.
Knuthenborg Park & Safari has the biggest nature playground in Denmark. Pit yourself against the climbing wall and the many other fun activities.
In Gerlev Legepark you can try out more than 100 games and sports of yesteryear, with or without a play instructor. Anyone can join in – children, teens, adults and older folks – just set your own pace!
Kalvehave Maze Park provides a challenge for both children and adults – legs and brain. Try the many different 3D jigsaws and brain teasers deployed around the park and in the “Cryptotec” (Puzzle Centre).
Feddet Camping is home to the Robinson Crusoe nature playground, a climbing wall, Bungy Trampoline and play zone for tots. Be sure to visit SnaphaneCamp, too, where you can learn to use a bow and arrow, ride horses and bake twistbread.
Ledreborg Slotspark is the beautiful setting for the exciting Jungle Path. The large dock leaves give a real jungle feel, while the fantasy animals, swings and watercourses provide the setting for hours of play and entertainment.

GeoCenter Møns Klint spans millions of years of living history – you can observe the birth of Denmark here. The GeoCentre is full of things to see and do. For instance, you can experience life in the chalk sea, try lifting mountains, walk through the glaciers from the Ice Age or create your own cliff slippage. The Centre opens on 30 May 2007.

Holmegaard Glassworks magical world of glass is an exciting experience for all the family. Try blowing the molten glass and shaping your very own item of Homegaard glassware. Let the kids try the delicate art of glass grinding to produce a personal amulet or glass. Be sure to visit Glasmuseet (the Glass Museum), with more than 180 years of adventures in glass on display
